This notice explains how EchoWave OÜ processes personal data received through the website echowave.rentals.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller of your personal data is EchoWave OÜ (registry code 17442788), Peterburi tee 46-307, Lasnamäe linnaosa, 11415 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Republic of Estonia. For any question about personal data, write to info@echowave.rentals or call +34 656 518 190.

2. What data we collect

We collect personal data only through the proposal request form. The form has the following fields:

  • company name;
  • name of the contact person;
  • email address;
  • phone number (optional);
  • the service and the car you are interested in;
  • a free-text message;
  • a consent checkbox.

Providing the data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot reply to your request. Please do not include special categories of personal data (for example, health information) in the message.

3. Why we use the data and on what legal basis

We use the data to reply to your request and to prepare a commercial proposal. The legal bases are:

  • taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR);
  • our legitimate interest in business communication with companies and organisations (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

By ticking the consent checkbox, you confirm that you agree to the processing of the data in your request for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

4. How long we keep the data

  • If no contract is concluded, we keep the data for up to 12 months and then delete it.
  • If a contract is concluded, we keep the data for the duration of the contract and afterwards for as long as required by the Estonian Accounting Act. Accounting documents are kept for 7 years.

5. Who receives the data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf and on our instructions (processors):

  • the website hosting provider;
  • the email service provider.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless a service provider uses appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict the processing of your data;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To use these rights, write to info@echowave.rentals. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within one month, as required by the GDPR.

If you believe that we process your data unlawfully, you can contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon):
